Our first round match on 2 December was against our neighbours from Preston South Rotary. We got off to a storming start before our friends from Preston South clawed back to close the gap by the halfway stage. However, happily for us, we forged ahead again and, led by our President Jim, made our way to the second round by 78 points to 52. Congratulations to the team of Jim, Annette, Debs and Lynette.
Thanks to Quizmistress Sue, Timekeeper John, and Scorer Shaun.
It was a fun evening of competition and fellowship enjoyed by all.
