45 hampers were packed and distributed to young carers and their families. Feedback is that they are overjoyed with having something to open at Christmas. Thank you to all that have bought, wrapped and transported hampers this year.
Message from Foxes Piece School
On behalf of everyone at Foxes Piece School, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support over the past year. Your generosity and dedication have made a profound impact on our school community, and we are truly thankful.
The reading helper volunteers you provide make such a difference to our children’s literacy development and confidence. The time and care they give are deeply appreciated by students and staff alike.
The Christmas Hampers brought so much joy to 20 of our families, enabling them to enjoy a special Christmas with treats and extras they would otherwise go without. For families facing challenges, this was a precious gift of kindness and cheer.
We were also delighted to receive the warm winter coats through the Coats4Kids initiative, ensuring eight children stayed cozy and comfortable during the cold months. Your thoughtfulness has helped meet essential needs in such a practical way.
Additionally, the art supply packs you provided for the summer holidays were a wonderful surprise for our budding artists. These packs encouraged creativity and exploration, offering children a chance to express themselves away from screens and technology—a much-needed gift in today’s world.
We also love when your volunteers visit us with Pudsey Bear, bringing joy and excitement as they support our fundraising efforts for Children in Need. These moments create lasting memories for the children and strengthen the sense of community within our school.
With 50% of our families qualifying for the Pupil Premium Grant, many face significant challenges in meeting basic needs. Your unwavering support has truly helped bridge the gaps and provide hope and relief to those who need it most.
From all of us—pupils, families, and staff alike—thank you for being such an incredible partner to Foxes Piece School. Your kindness and generosity inspire us, and we are so grateful for the difference you make in our community.
With warmest regards,
Jane Byron
Headteacher
