It was a great pleasure to recently visit St Peter & Paul’s RC Primary School along with Claverhouse Rotarian David and Broughty Ferry President Graeme, to present certificates and book voucher prizes to the winners in the Rotary Young Artist and Young Photographer Competition. The standard of entries from the School was very high, making the judges’ job especially challenging. Receiving their winners’ certificates and prizes for their interpretation of the theme ‘Wonderful Water' were:
Morgan Amond -Artist, Junior from Clepington. Claverhouse - sponsored by Claverhouse
Saoirse Smith - Photographer, Junior from St Peter and Pauls.- sponsored by Claverhouse
Drew Walker - Artist, Junior from St. P&P.- sponsored by Dundee
Dylan MacGregor - Photographer, Senior from Morgan - sponsored by Dundee
Nia Birmingham - Artist, Junior from St.P&P - sponsored by Broughty Ferry
Paige Birmingham - Photographer, Junior, from St.P&P - sponsored by Broughty Ferry
Many congratulations to all our winners for the imagination and creativity of their submissions. We are most grateful to the pupils for taking part, and for their teachers and head teacher Mrs Derby for encouraging the children to support the competitions and for making us feel so welcome at the School.
