Organisers of the Saffery Rotary Walk 2025 are delighted to announce that registration for the Family Walk is now open!
Mark your calendars for Saturday 7 June 2025 and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon of walking, community spirit, and fundraising for local charities.
The Family Walk allows islanders to complete the final leg or last two legs of the route together, making it an accessible and rewarding experience for all ages and fitness levels. It’s the perfect way for families, friends, and multiple generations to enjoy Guernsey’s beautiful landscapes while supporting local causes.
Walk Chairman, Simon Milsted, said: “What better way to spend quality time with those close to you than walking side by side in support of Guernsey’s charities? The Family Walk is a fantastic opportunity for all generations to take part in this iconic event while enjoying our island’s stunning coastal scenery.”
Simon added; “Sign up and we will be waiting to greet you at Chouet or Bordeaux Harbour and will make sure you leave with one of our fantastic branded caps to identify you as a participant in one of Guernsey’s pre-eminent fundraising walk.”
Lisa Vizia, Director at Saffery Trust, added: “The Family Walk is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone - from young children in strollers to grandparents who want to take part in a relaxed and sociable way. Crossing the finish line together is a truly special moment.”
Lisa continued: “We encourage families or friendship groups of up to four walkers to sign up, get outdoors, and make a difference to the 2025 Walk’s chosen charities.
It’s a simple yet powerful way to give back while creating lasting memories.”
For just £40, your family can take part in this exciting and meaningful event. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an adventurous challenge, the Saffery Rotary Walk Family Walk is an opportunity to come together for a great cause.
