Visit to the Boathouse at Wisbech

Recently a party of 35 Rotarians and their wives, from the March club visited the Boathouse in Wisbech.
They were welcomed by Peter Harvey, the harbourmaster. Mr. Harvey gave a brief introductory talk before the party walked to the quay to observe the moored craft.
Following this, the group moved to the boatyard to see the vessels undergoing repair. Whilst there they also saw the turning basin which allows larger ships to turn before beginning their journey back to the North Sea via The Wash.
The evening was concluded with a splendid meal back at the Boathouse where the March President, Mike Enderby, offered Mr. Harvey a vote of thanks.
