Can You Help Our Youth to Achieve Great Things?

 

Rotary District 1150 covers the southern part of Wales from Aberystwyth down to the Bristol Channel coast. Within our many structures, we have a very strong Youth Services Committee looking after a wide range of projects and competitions designed so that we can work with the youth and students in schools, colleges and other organisations.

Youth Service offers many opportunities for young people. From youth competitions such as young chef, young photographer and youth speaks, to recognising outstanding work in the community through the Rotary GB&I Young Citizens Awards which are presented at the national Rotary Conference each year and broadcast on the BBC News Channel.

Young Rotary

RotaKids and Interact give anyone from the age of 7 all the way through to 18 the chance to develop personal skills and become a part of Rotary from an early age. Young people, teachers and youth leaders can find out more about how to get involved with these and other youth schemes by following the links at the side of the page.

The aim is to help young people discover and develop their own personal skills, grow their self-esteem and enjoy themselves in the process. Whether it is RotaKids, Interact or taking on the challenge of Young Writer, there is something for everyone to participate in.
