Charity Music Quiz

Rotarian Godfrey Smith organised the annual Charity Music Quiz at the
meeting upon Monday 26th March.
Guests of Honour were Liz Cowling and Steven Green, from Uppingham Rotary
club, who were to be our Quiz Masters.

Members and many Guests enjoyed a meal prior to taking part in the serious,
but, light hearted evening brain teasers. With 6 varied rounds of music,
general knowledge etc., taken at a brisk pace, plus a 'name the face' sheet
featuring people, if you knew them, from George Formby to Johnny Deep.

Seven teams of 6 and one of 4 did their heads together, the Winning Set of
C.D's going to 'All the President's Men', with 119 points and Wooden Spoons
all round for 'Six of the Best', or so they thought at the start, with just
93 points.
