The moneys donated by the Rotary Club of Thame will be used as follows:

all the monies go to the needy and not to the organisation. They match up volunteers with people who are in need. |
SERV |
Money will go to the upkeep of the bikes and the training of the drivers. They deliver blood, donated organs, breast milk etc to the hospitals where they are needed |
Thame and District Day Centre |
the money will go towards trips out and extra comforts for their customers eg cushions and sherry before lunch (which aids the appetite) |
Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance | the money will go towards their future plans which include doctors on most flights, transporting blood and night flights |
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People |
the money will go towards the training of the dogs and the matching of the recipient to the dog. The dogs are then further trained to the requirements of that person eg needing warning of sounds, baby crying, companionship or help in picking up things for more disabled people |
Meadowcroft | the money will go towards the extension of the garden, the making of paths and a sensory garden to enhance the lives of the residents |
Other donations were made to Stroke Awareness, Rycote and Trinity surgeries, Rotary Foundation and End Polio.
