Evening Meeting - International Students Evening 7 for 7.30pm

The Walls was packed on 21st January when thirteen pupils from five local schools stood up to give their impressions of being an overseas student in a UK secondary school. Differences in food (with fish and chips appearing to be a firm favourite), weather, teaching methods and emphasis on sports were all highlighted. Ambitions to study arts, science and medicine were disclosed with some students aiming for UK universities, some for other international locations and some for those back in their home countries.
