Held upon Sunday 1st July 2012, President of March Rotary Club, John Orbell,
together with his 'bubbly wife' Maureen, hosted the traditional End of
Office Lunch for over 60 Members, wives, friends and Guests at the
Conservative Club Creek Road.

A welcome drink upon arrival, and the chance to socialise, preceded a fine 3
course Lunch Buffet Lunch, Cold Meats, Desserts, and Cheeses. served by the
ever attentive staff.

Informality and relaxation in good company, recalling the varied events John
has presided over in the last year, The Young Chef Competition, Fenland
Music Concert, Newspaper Collections, Kids Out, Hosting visiting Rotarians
from the USA, every week it seemed something was in the offering, and all
handled with skill, tact, and humour.

He thanks all Rotarians in the March Club for their efforts and support,
prior to handing over the Ross Davis, President elect, the 'treasured '
statue of The Halle Man, presented to the March club many years ago by their
'twin club' in Germany.

His support was pledged for the in coming President, as was that of the
assembled Guests, echoed by their warm applause.
