Feb 2013 An evening of light self-entertainment 7.00 for 7.30 with partners

Light hearted Songs, Music and Monologues were interspersed between the courses of a delicious candle-lit dinner. The concert party of ten rotarians and partners were well rehearsed and only struggled a bit with their torches in the atmospheric gloom. The entertaining pieces included 'The Policemans Lot' (Gilbert and Sullivan), a reworded 'Three Little Wives ' (Gilbert and Sullivan), 'Oh No John', Albert and the Lion, with its sequel Albert and the Tigers, The pet Hippopotamus plus two stirring speeches from Shakespeare and some priceless one line jokes!
