District Quiz 2nd Round.

The Men of March Rotary Club scored a convincing victory over their friends and opponents, Wisbech, in the second round of the Inter Club Quiz.

Held at the Conservative Club, Creek Road, over 40 Visitors, Members, and Guests enjoyed a meal prior to the actual event. As ever, Norman Topliss was the genial quiz master, being fair, firm and fun. Scores were recorded by Bruce Wood and Roger Almond.

With questions on Geography, Sport, Science, TV, War and Classical Music, March took a commanding lead in the opening round, which they maintained, but Sport was the low point for both teams.

With a total of 58 points to 26 the home team now go onto the Final, which they won in 2011.

The teams were, Mike Chapman, Pearl David, Norman Davies, Chris Mackett, Bill Redmane and Rod Herbert for Wisbech.
