The second round of the District Quiz 2013 - South Cambridge drawn against Letchworth.
The competition this time was held in the dining room at Abbeyfield, Girton. Many thanks to the management team for allowing us to use their beautiful new facilities and supplying the refreshments.
The teams from the Letchworth and South Cambridge Clubs arrived in good time and settled to a well matched game under the watchful eye of Question Master and Timekeeper Ann and Andy Muston.
Letchworth -
John Elliott, Nigel Downes, Alan Goodwin, Brain Marshall, Colin Sparshott and Roger Thomson.
South Cambridge -
Jan Cooper, Richard de Horsey, Sian and Alan Franklin, Colin Edge, Bob Sadler.
South Cambridge were off to a slow start and despite rallying well never quite caught up.
Letchworth won with a well earned 48 against 36.
CONGRATULATIONS LETCHWORTH ! GOOD LUCK IN THE DISTRICT FINAL !!
