The Rotary Young Photographer is a competition run annually by Rotary GB&I in the UK. As a talent, and an art form, Rotary GB&I celebrates the photographic skills of thousands of young people with a sequence of competitions that give them the chance to demonstrate and display just what they can produce.
Each year, we see more and more Young Photographer competition entries, each submitting a portfolio of photographs into the Rotary GB&I final.
This year's theme was 'Peace', with entrants free to choose their own topics within this theme In addition each entrant must provide, in no more than 50 words, a description of the inspiration for their photographs and how they reflect the theme. The competition is split into three different age categories, with ages taken on 31st August 2012.
JUNIOR: Aged 7 -10 years
INTERMEDIATE: Aged 11- 13 years
SENIOR: Aged 14 -17 years.
