Group Study Exchange 2013

Three local clubs met together at Ampthill to listen to the benefits gained by our Group Study Exchange young people who went to New Zealand earlier this year. Three of the group were able to attend our meeting and entertain us with the story of their journey - both in physical terms and in terms of the learning that they brought back with them. We learned how they had got involved in New Zealand life in the 3 weeks they were there - even to the extent of speaking on national radio! We learned about the benefits they had brought back to the UK that will help take forward the literacy and numeracy of the young people that they come into contact with in their various occupations.

A very enjoyable evening which ended with a quiz presented by one of the team who tested our New Zealand knowledge. How many towns or cities in New Zealand can you name?
