A presentation to the Club by Mike Griffiths and Christopher Perry on the Oswestry Helping Hands organisation which Mike will follow with a presentation on the Rotary Guildford Eye project
Helping Hand
Shropshire Voluntary Helping Hand Association Oswestry branch organises pastoral care by home, hospital, hospice and residential home visiting and social outings for members. Anyone who is disabled or partially sighted, aged between 16 and 70 years and lives in the Oswestry or North West Shropshire can become a member of this branch. Social activities are arranged monthly, usually with a meal at a variety of venues. Assistance is offered to people with mobility impairments and wheelchair users.
Club member and Branch Chairman Chris Perry and Mike Griffiths will give the presentation.
The Guildford Eye Project
Mike Griffiths will also tells us about the Rotary Club of Guildford Eye Project community which he has been involved with.
