HEATHROW TERMINALS 1 & 5
Collections at 7 local schools including Burford School in Marlow Bottom and Holy Trinity in Marlow on 11th Nov, Foxes Piece School in Marlow and Spinfield School in Marlow on 12th Nov, Gerrards Cross C of E School on 13th Nov, Robertswood School in Chalfont St Peter and Thorpe House Pre-prep and Prep Schools in Gerrards Cross on 14th Nov. Then a massive collection at Heathrow Airport on 15th Nov in Terminals 1 and 5 involving 150 Rotarians from 25 local Rotary Clubs collecting for 450 hours from 6am-8pm.
Misbourne Matins and Marlow Thames worked together running each Terminal individually, keeping in constant contact throughout the day to ensure a smooth running operation. All the collectors gave positive feedback and all the organisers are excited about doing it again next year.
A total in excess of £22,000 was collected in support of Children in Need.
