President Chris Bushell announced the award of the Paul Harris Fellowship to Tim by saying.

One of our number here tonight has been a member of Wickford Rotary for 26 years, and has always worked hard inside and out with the Club to promote activities for youngsters for many years. He has been involved in supporting both guides and scouts in the area, and also Wickford Town Football Club. Having been involved in the acquisition and development of their training ground site in Cranfield Park Road  he became very active when local developers wanted to develop the football ground on Southend Road for housing. Some years ago, he along with Mick Kemp, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago, started getting involved in the negotiations with Basildon Council and the developers in order to make sure that the football club benefited to the maximum when they were to give up the ground they had. As a result of their efforts, after many years a purpose built Club House has been built on a site at Shotgate, and when the grounds are finished this will be a fantastic site for the youth of Wickford.
Tim Kadesh has also been involved recently in the erection of the war memorial at Crays Hill, having donated the land on which it is placed, and helping towards the funding of its building.

For his work for the young and those not to be forgotten I would ask PDG Neil to present to Tim with his Paul Harris Fellow award.
