Chippy Jazz And Music 2014 - Mike was the founder of Chippy Jazz 17 years ago, and worked tirelessly through the Rotary Club to make the event the success it has become. Mike sadly passed away earlier this year.

Chippy Jazz And Music 2014 - Chipping Norton School fielded a new band which promises much for the future.

Chippy Jazz And Music 2014 - After appearing in the town hall, this great duet - playing a lot of Django Reinhardt material - moved over to The Old Mill Coffee Shop.

Chippy Jazz And Music 2014 - Under their leader Mike Mullins they started realyy shaking the rafters of the Hall.

Chippy Jazz And Music 2014 - This excellent team were part of the Oxfordshire County Council's Music Service, and showed the standard of young musicians in the county.

It was a great day for being in Chipping Norton with lovely weather and superb music wherever you went. Even outside there were walking (or sitting!) bands in the lower Market Place, while more music could be found in cafes and pubs around the town where there were great free gigs.

In the afternoon there was a superb Schools' Bands concert for a minimal entry fee.

In the evening, the Innovations Jazz Orchestra laid on a great concert in the Town Hall to top off a memorable day.

All the profits from the day will be donated to charity by the Rotary Club of Chipping Norton who staged the day for the 17th year. This year the proceeds will be going to Home Stsart Banbury and Chipping Norton, to the ACE Children's Centre in Chipping Norton and to rotary Charities.
