Members of the Club have been invited to attend today's Open Day at Transhouse in Oswestry.

Transhouse is a registered charity for people with spinal cord injuries. They provide short-term accommodation and advocacy support for their clients, while helping them to find and adapt suitable long-term accommodation in their chosen area.

Developed by Prof Wagih El Masri, Paul Harris Fellow and friend of our Club, Transhouse has two bungalows in Oswestry that are able to accommodate up to eight people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities at any one time and is one of the first transitional housing schemes in the UK to prevent institutionalization of patients and ensure effective use of beds. Each of these properties is fully equipped for use by people with spinal cord injuries.
