Karen Coppin Job Talk

Fats Waller sang about ‘Your Feet’s too big’, but in the case of Karen Coppin, our speaker on Monday 13 th October at the Rotary Club of March, this would pose no problem. Introduced by Bruce Woods, she is by profession a Chiropodist and Podiatrist with a very successful practice locally. Karen is also the newest and most welcome lady member. In an interesting, informative, and often humorous description of the very personal approach given to each client, she described the legal and professional requirements associated with her work. From which it is fair to say, she obviously derives both satisfaction and enjoyment. In 1983 Karen graduated in this skill, after studying at Durham University, the same year her Father, Derek, was President of March Rotary Club. By joining, she continues a fine family tradition. At question time, advice was given on simple safe remedies for common foot ailments that cost pence, not pounds. Local I.T. guru, Ian Cave assisted in the visual presentation. In giving a vote of thanks, Past President, Peter Bennett congratulated Karen for giving a fascinating insight to this important side of wellbeing. Robert Freeman Press Officer. R.C.M. 01354 656569
