Food fair car parking at Aardvark books

We spent the day helping with the car parking and collecting a little money for our charity account.

This was a long day but the weather was beautiful, people in general were friendly and Jo Brand was there to open proceedings. It was a bit like herding cats on the M25 at times, but we did our best to keep a good flow of traffic in and out of the car parking field. Much easier than a few years ago when  it rained and we had to make sure people did not get stuck in the mud! A big thank you to all those that put a few pennies in the bucket and to all the Rotarians who gave up their time to help out. The total raised as of today ( Sunday 13th ) is
