The open air theatre at Stamford is a unique and beautiful setting and their productions are always top-knotch.
Come and see Alice in Wonderland!
Tonight we drove up to Stamford with a picnic. The lawns of the old manor are a beautiful setting for an evening of fun and entertainment. After the picnic we move into the natural amphitheatre area. While the theatre stage is in the open air the audience is snug under cover on comfortable seats. The performances are always of the highest standard in inventive and attractive stage sets amongst the trees and flowers.

We started with a lovely picnic on the lawns in the evening sunshine. We then had very good seats to watch the performance full of well known poems, characters and clever effects. Definitely something to repeat!
