Oct 2014 Multi Club Meeting - hosted by RC Saffron Waldon 7 for 7.30pm.

This is a multi club meeting hosted by Saffron Walden Rotary Club. DGE Dorothy to attend. Main talk all about Scotts last Polar Expedition when he was just beaten to the South Pole by Admundsen, and died on his return journey.

This Wednesday - Thank you to the Saffron Walden Rotary Club for inviting us to take part in this multiclub event.

Two carloads of us went over to the Saffron Hotel, Saffron Walden to enjoy a tasty meal with the welcoming Saffron Walden Club and several members of the local Inner Wheel club, then to hear a talk by Dr Peter Clarkson MBE - all about Scott's Last Polar Expedition with some rare photographs from the original expedition.
