Paul Harris Fellowship Award

Simon Kroner, a member of The Rotary Club of Ashford has been presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of his contribution to the club since becoming a member.

Simon became a member of the Club in 1997 having first of all served his Rotary apprenticeship with Ashford Rotaract Club for a number of years where he had the opportunity to serve as President. He is the only member of our Club to have risen through the ranks in this way.

Having grown too old for Rotaract he decided to join the Rotary Club and has over the last 17or so years given tremendous service.  Firstly, not wishing to hang around, within four years Simon became our youngest ever President during Rotary year 2000/2001. Whist President, he raised money for his charity Whizz Kidz by cycling from Land
