Do you have any redundant computer equipment less than 8 years old? Want to donate it to a good cause?
At their central processing unit in Kent Computers 4 Africa receive working redundant computers through collections and local donations from around the UK. The donated equipment is then data-wiped and refurbished, before sending them to schools, colleges and selected community projects in Africa.
Beneficiaries pay a contribution towards the cost of preparing and shipping the equipment – but at the best price available in their locality – that is our ambition. In this way they make modern IT available to those that would otherwise never get to use a computer in their years at school.
Computers 4 Africa targets the poorest causes by donating 10% of the computers they send out.
Computers 4 Africa are holding a donation session in Chester this week.
