Spike is our new President!

On the 30th June the Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge held its President handover evening. The outgoing President, Leslie Fox thanked all the club members and officers for their loyalty and hard work over the year, in which the club had covered just about every aspect of Rotary Service and thoroughly enjoyed it. Leslie then, as is the custom, presented the following cups; Visitors Cup to Mike Hedges, who being on the District Team seems to spend most of his time wandering around the various clubs in the area. Presidents Cup to Roger Owen for the help give to the President through the year and finally the Fellowship cup to Spike Parker for no reason anyone could work out. Leslie then handed the Presidents regalia over to Spike Parker who will be in the chair for the forthcoming year. Spike thanked Leslie for all the work he had done for the club during the year through very trying personal circumstances, the year had been a great success.
