A pupil at Cragg Vale J & I School has won first prize in the Rotary Young writers Competition!
This was a national competition with thousands of entries, each entrant was required to write a short prose entitled ‘Light up the Community’ exploring a project that was happening in their area.
The winner of the junior section was Cerridwen Gray representing Hebden Bridge Rotary Club quite an achievement. Cerridwen has written a heart-warming prose about the Magic Breakfast Club.
