The Rotary Club of Thame's display provided information about the club's activities and the charities supported in 2015-2016: Medical Detection Dogs and Citizens Advice Bureau Thame.

Raffle tickets with the opportunity to win a hamper full of good foods and wines were sold by Thame Rotarians and their partners. The profits from the raffle tickets sale are to go towards Rotary Club of Thame charities.

There were dog demonstrations carried out by Medical Detection Dogs.

Peter Hook, Thame Rotary’s President in 2015-2016 said:

"The Rotary Club of Thame was pleased to support Medical Detection Dogs at
Thame Show. This Charity does fantastic work in training dogs to support those who are vulnerable with diabetes and allergies. Recently dogs have been trained to detect early signs of cancer in humans with and over 90% success rate."

Peter concluded: “To continue and to expand our fundraising activities in the months and years to come, we are looking for even more support from the local community. We are welcoming new members from the local communities of Thame, Chinnor, Long Crendon and neighbouring villages who can join our world of fun, fellowship and fundraising"
