2015 Beer & Music Fest Presentation

A successful event allowed Karen Newton of EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospicies) to received a cheque for £5421.71

Following the very successful Beer & Music Festival in July this year. Soham Rotary Club President, Bruce Golson and Immediate Past President Alan Chilcott hand over the cheque to the main benefitiaries from the event, EACH ( East Anglia's Children's Hospicies) and their representative, Karen Newton.

Karen expressed the gratitude of the charity and shared with us some of the key functions of this important charity. She also indicated that as a consequence of the size of sum raised by the Club that it would be recognised in their PR. The Soham Rotary Club would be hteir sponsor for a specific day - yet to be nominated.

Special thanks and recognition was also afforded to this year's festival organiser, Rtn Stuart Cavanagh and his committee. Steve Thompon, from Blue Shed Studios, was also included in this recognition. The music programme for both days of the event had been excellent and the new staging arrangement provided a very professional arena for the groups to perform.

Final thanks to goes to all our sponsors who significantly contributed to the success of the event in terms of money generated for the charities.
