2016 Rotary Annual Charity Walk

Sun, May 8th 2016 at 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

A fully marshalled route for charities and community groups to raise funds for their own causes.

Charity Walk 2016

A walk organised and managed by Newbury Rotary to enable YOU to raise funds for YOUR chosen Charity or Community Group.
Rotary provides the route, the signs, the marshalls.
Your Organisation provides the walkers, the sponsors and the enthusiasm.

On Sunday 8th May 2016, this year's walking route was based around Bucklebury village, starting at the Victory Rooms. Over £1700 was raised on the day by 47 walkers for various charities including the Indian Red Cross, Motor Neurone Disease UK Home Start West Berkshire, Greenham Scouts and Guides.

The route of either 5 or 8 miles was fully signed and marshalled by Newbury Rotarians on a beautifully sunny May day.
