Update February 2016

Update since Report to Club Assembly



1.RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Camp - A place has been reserved at the girls’ camp in July – We will be seeking to confirm our candidate for the camp by the middle of March.

2. Primary School Quiz – Quiz set for 16th March at Crossford Primary School – to date we have 5 team entries, we will be pushing for more entries and confidently expect a few more before the closing date of 29th February, which we will extend by a few days if necessary.

3. Rotary GB&I Young Citizens Award – Paperwork has been completed and submitted for our nominee, Casey Anderson and we await the outcome of the nomination.

4. and 5. Young Photographer and Young Writer – We will be reminding the interested schools of the closing date of 14 March for entries for each of these competitions – no entries received to date, but hopeful of receipt of entries before this closing date for judging prior to forwarding the winners to the Area final.
