2016 Beer & Music Festival Presentation

Club members and Guests enjoyed an evening at the No Hurry, Upware to present the beneficiary charities with their cheques.

The finally tally is in and this year's event has generated over £4200 which is an excellent performance given the additional expense incurred with this year's set-up away from the pavillion.

Guests at the presentaion night were Steve & Hazel Thompson from Blueshed Studios and Emily Fleming from the Marie Curie organisation.

President Stuart used the occassion to thanks sponsors, members, helpers and supporters for all their efforts in delivering the event. Rtn Lynne Turner had headed up this year's organising commitee for which President Stuart acknowleded specifically.

The Marie Curie charity and the 2nd Soham scouts each recieved a presentaion cheque for £1872 as their share of the money generated from the event.

The event also generated £600 which with fund a RYLA candidate for 2017 - another excellent Rotary initiative to support young adults.

Rtn Geoff Fisher also held a raffle on the night to support Rotary Foundation - he was grateful for all the donations and the £91 raised.

Thanks also went to Rtn Bill Rind for organising the Presentation Night at the "No Hurry"
