A Trip Out for Mencap
Children’s Services Activities Holiday
Having raised £1000 at a Hog Roast hosted by Graeme and Gill on
the night which was fund matched by the good exchange, we funded a
Children’s Services Activities Holiday. In February 2017 members of staff took
five of the children they support away to the Calvert Trust, Keider Water,
Exmoor and provided much needed respite for parents and it was a first
independent holiday away from home for the children. A great week was had by
all and everyone was very appreciative of being given this opportunity.
