Engage 2018 - District Conference
Your New Look Conference Weekend in Canterbury
The purpose of the "Engage 2018" (district conference) is to engage members at all levels, from your most-senior leaders to the newest club members. The event should recognize accomplishments of members, clubs, and the district in order to inspire all to become more involved, to give them a vision of Rotary beyond the club level, and to provide a memorable fellowship experience.
This can only be achieved if we are all engaged in the planning process.
You will be able to include members of your Contact Clubs and Friends of Rotary at this weekend - an excellent international fellowship opportunity.
Plans are progressing well for Engage 2018, as the D1120 Conference will be known in 2018. Salient points below:
University of Kent in Canterbury
Friday 7th – Sunday 9th September 2018
£6000 sponsorship has been secured from Pharon Independent Financial Advisors Ltd.
Theme of conference:
As the name suggests, emphasis is on getting delegates to widen their circle of acquaintances and sharing ideas. Breakout sessions specifically planned to foster these goals.
This is an exciting departure from previous Conferences and a response to the falling attendance in recent years, we would very much appreciate you comment and involvement so please "Engage" with us.
