Dragon Boat Race - Providing the fuel

Reporting on the Dragon Boat Race where Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club provided the catering for the 14 teams and their followers.. The quality of what was provided was outstanding and this is confirmed by both comments from participants and the fact that there are teams wanting to re-book and other team members wanting to enter their own teams next year. The active, open stall (and smell of bacon cooking) assisted in a major way to creating the right 'village' atmosphere that was essential to an event that involves the participants in a lot of standing time. A big thank you to all club members who assisted, especially Rob and Andrew who did all the pre work and cooked throughout the day. The final figure raised for the WizzyBug charity will be well in excess of £10,000.00.
