Charity Remembrance Ball Raises £6600

RWBTRC held its annual Remembrance Ball on 10 November at The Wiltshire Golf Club & Hotel to raise £6600 for Scotty's Little Soldiers

The Charity was founded by Nikki Scott after her husband was killed in Afghanistan and she realised that there was no charity focussed on the needs of bereaved children.  More information can be found at the Charity's website:

The Ball was a huge success raising £6600 - including the Raffle, Silent Auction and "Treasure Chest" donations that together raised  £3875 during the evening.  After an excellent dinner, music was by Hang Fire and the dance floor was crowded as diners enjoyed the lively music - ideally suited to their age range!

Huge thanks to the Band; to "The Wiltshire"; to our headline sponsor, "my goal is"; to the sponsors of the raffle prizes and the event souvenir booklet; to H&W whose printing was awesome; to Eleanor and Anne who persuaded the diners to part with over £1100; to Gabriel who took on the challenging role of Chairing the Ball Committee and to Ceri and Hazel whose monumental contribution over months leading up to the event ensured its ultimate success.

And finally, thanks to all those who attended and enjoyed the evening - without you it just wouldn't have worked.  We look forward to seeing you next year
