Mike presents Friends of Parkies with their share of the recent Street Collection.

Here's what Friends of Parkies say about themselves:

We are a growing group of friends who either have, or care for someone living with, Parkinson's Disease, who have started an informal group to meet and exchange ideas and information in a relaxed atmosphere.  We invite guest speakers from various organisations and groups who can offer support on a regular basis.

The group is based in North East Wales and get together each month, usually between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Moreton Garden Centre, just off the A5 at Chirk. (satnav postcode – LL14 5XG). There is plenty of free parking and disabled parking bays.

You are welcome to join us in the Ground Floor Restaurant. We are through the double doors on the left of the eating area.

Whilst we are not affiliated to any of the main Parkinson's groups, we do share posts and information and welcome people to do likewise.

We would recommend that you do NOT stop any prescribed medication without consulting your GP, Parkinson's Nurse or medical practitioner.
