Visit from Denise Gee of ELHT&Me
Denise visited the club to invite us to a breakfast event for the East Lancashire Hospital Trust's Charity and to tell us about its work.
Denise Gee visited us on Monday 5th February to tell us of the work and achievements of ELHT& Me, The local charitable trust for the East Lancashire Hospitals. She amazed us with the fundraising they have already carried out which have provided many services that the NHS could not budget for including a robotic surgery unit at Blackburn.
The next project will be to raise funds for a replacement scanner for the Hospital Trust that would not be included in the NHS budget. This will be launched at a breakfast meeting on Friday 23rd February.
