The Annual Sponsored Wade Walk raises a grezt deal of money for Charity.The main charities this year are The Dingwall Hydrotherapy Puffin Pool and the Local Alzheimers Group. But other local chrities and good causes (groups and individuals) will also benefit.
Participants pay an entry fee to cover admin costs and collect a minimum of £20 in sponsorship.
They are bussed to the starting points at Silver Bridge (on the Ullapool Road) or Blackmuir Woods (Strathpeffer) and are monitored by marshalls, radio and first aid facilities throughout. At the completion in Dinwall they are provided with refreshments.
