Country Music Festival and Extravaganza

Book your stall at the Extravaganza in the Botanical Gardens.


For many years, the Rotary Club of Edgbaston Convention has been running a successful Charity Country Music Extravaganza at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. This year the event will be on Sunday 2 September.

The aim is to create an entertaining and fun environment that will enable other charitable organisations, including Rotary charities, to raise funds in support of their work.

Over time this event has gained a ‘sound’ reputation and has secured a loyal following of visitors who are drawn both to the beautiful gardens and to listen and dance to a top country music band and DJ. The event is always popular attracting up to 3000 attendees on sunny days. Once again, this year, we will have a strong line dancing influence, featuring Texas Tornados supported by Kezia Gill.

A variety of charities regularly come along and rent a stall thus raising funds and promoting their organisations to a wider audience.

As a local charity, we would like to offer the opportunity of renting a space for a small deposit. All stands/pitches will cost £35.00 this year, with or without the use of a gazebo. If you want us to supply tables and chairs there will be an additional charge of £10. They will be sited either on the top terrace or on the lawn along the top-side of the Botanical Gardens. (Own tables/gazebos to be provided by those using the space.) Pitch prices are inclusive of stall holder tickets (2 per stand). In addition, if you are prepared to sell tickets on our behalf in advance, we will donate £1 for each one sold to your charity – so please let me know by  August 10th if you would like some tickets to sell.

To attend, kindly return the enclosed booking form along with a deposit cheque for £20.00 made payable to the Rotary Club of Edgbaston Convention by Friday 10th August 2018.

Details of the music programme, tickets and other information will be forwarded to you nearer the time.
