Roger takes over at Dunstable

Roger Clarke, who joined our club in 2014, took over as President for the year 2018-19.

Roger was born in Old Welwyn, Hertfordshire, and was educated at Hitchin boys grammar and also Hemel Hempstead grammar.

His first job was with Hertfordshire County Council in the health and education department as a management trainee.  He then worked for a national charity in various roles.   He spent 17 years as Facilities Manager at the Institute of Electrical Engineer’s in London until he retired in 2012.

 Roger has been on Totternhoe Parish Council since 1984 often as Chairman.

Roger, married to Veronica, has two children and two grandchildren.  His hobbies include photography, travel, shooting, fishing, gardening, and chickens!

His chosen charity for the year is East Anglia Air Ambulance.
