Club member Mark Liquorish spoke to Club today about disability in general (with a bias towards blindness) and his expeience of it in particular.
Mark only displayed Refsum Syndrome which took his sight at 25 and which also physically disabled him until a pioneering doctor put him on a special diet and he was able to go back to work after 18 months.
Members of the Club thanked him for his honest explanation of the diagnosis and progress of his disease and wished him well as he continues to take on commitments and works through it all.
Mike Griffiths also made the rearranged presentation of £140 to Jill Livingstone of Carers Trust 4All for their Oswestry Young Carers service from the recent M&S Store Collection.
