In a career lasting 35 years, Jon flew over 40 different aircraft and, amongst many roles, was responsible for the Red Arrows, chosen to be the RAF Pallbearer at the Queen Mother’s funeral, jousted with 1,600 media reps as the RAF spokesman for Gulf War 2 and even had a complete episode of Blue Peter tackling an unusual challenge with his son.
Most events, no matter how serious or important, tend to have amusing elements, many of which are never discussed in public, Jon intends sharing some of his, including what almost went wrong at the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen Mother.
