A drop of rain didn't dampen the spirits of 50 cyclists doing the 10/27/50 mile routes on the weekend in aid of two excellent Charities, Prostate Cymru and the Tenovus Closer to Home Appeal, organised by The Rotary Club of Narberth & Whitland.
They cycled in the rain from Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth as true troopers and then enjoyed a great meal at the Cresselly Arms, Cresswell Quay afterwards.
The most popular route was the 27 miles, but a few heroes managed the 50 miles.
It was so nice to see families out on the 10 mile route, with Dads helping their children getting up the few hills in the Canaston Woods!
President Tony Ensom offered grateful thanks to the 4 Blood Bikers that turned out to support their motor bikes as outriders in their Hi Viz jackets.
At the end of the ride all cyclists met at The Cresselly Arms Cresswell Quay. Landlords Colin and John Evans were excellent hosts and provided a welcome two-course buffet lunch with appropriate refreshments for all age groups.
Organiser of the ride, Past President David Haward gave thanks to Burns Building Company for sponsoring the Bloomfield Community Centre Bus as the Shuttle Service to and from Cresswell Quay.
