Twelfth Night Dinner at the Judges Lodges

When our Fun and Fundraising guru Bruce suggested that we meet up at the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne for a 12th-night event we were delighted. The venue has such atmosphere and history which turned out to make the evening unique, with only a log fire in each room for warmth and candlelight to eat by. But with 20 hot bodies ( including very welcome guests Kathy, Simon, Ann, Clive and Jennifer ) and a blazing fire we eventually warmed up and the candelabra cast plenty of light, adding to the occasion. Bruce and Sandie donated the beautiful decorations, pre-dinner drinks and coffees, Dorothy the canapes, Angie the tasty starter, sorbet and main course, and Ivan the dessert.
