Durham Regatta - 2006

Sat, Jun 10th 2006 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

The Club attended this famous regatta to provide some help with stewarding and to raise awareness of Rotary among the thousands who attend the event.

What a weekend!  Was it good luck or bad for us to spend the hottest weekend many of us can remember on the banks of the River Wear?

Among the attractions provided by the Rotary Club was an "upmarket" Tombola - many quality prizes were available to everyone who likes a simple flutter.

We would like to thank Waitrose (Durham branch), Elvet Flower Shop and Pressed For Time - as well as the members of our Rotary Club - for the generous donation of tombola prizes.
