This morning at the war memorial Royston Rotary Club presented Chris Murphy of Royston’s Royal British Legion with a donation of £500 to mark the centenary of the Armistice. Club President David Blundell said “It’s a time when we all remember the sacrifices made in two world wars and many other conflicts. The whole club wanted to show their gratitude, and we all respect the invaluable work the British Legion does for our veterans and their families. I know they will use our donation wisely.”
