Beadles Jaguar Land Rover Watford came to the rescue of Watford Rotary’s annual Christmas Street collection after an unsuccessful attempt by the club to find a volunteer with a tow bar to pull their sleigh through the streets of Watford.

Organiser Allan Packham said “ we really were worried we would not be able to do our street tour this year due to not having a vehicle with a tow bar, we didn’t want to let the community down as we know how much they look forward to seeing Santa, plus of course it brings in valuable revenue that helps us to support local charities. One of our members suggested we try Beadles, so we approached Chris Stockwell, Beadles Head of Business who immediately and enthusiastically gave it his full backing and now we have a beautiful, fully liveried Land Rover to pull our sleigh”.

David Silverston, Watford Rotary’s PR said “we are extremely grateful to Chris and his team for saving the day, Beadles really came up trumps and I know there are numerous children and their families who will also want to express their thanks to Chris as well”.
