Far from feeling competition from the World Cup, Soham Rotary's Beer Festival provided English fans with another reason to celebrate.  Visitors from Soham sampled a wide selection of real ales from local breweries and over 600 pints were drawn.

Money raised from the event will be applied to a number of community charities including "Kids Out", taking children from Green Hedges School on an annual trip to Wickstead Park, and providing prizes for the local heat of the Young Musician of the Year.
